Confluence is when multiple independent factors align at the same price level, creating a high-probability zone. The more factors that point to the same area, the more likely that area will hold (support) or reject (resistance). The core principle: no single indicator or pattern is reliable enough. Confluence stacks odds in your favor. Each additional confirming factor increases the probability of a successful trade — but with diminishing returns beyond 4-5 factors.
The concept of confluence is grounded in probability theory.
